Aerial straps are two straps attached to swivels, a rigging plate, and a single rig point. This configuration allows aerialists to perform several twists, rolls, and various body positions requiring a great deal of strength and precision. In this course, students will learn standard conditioning movements that build a solid foundation for straps like skin the cats, nutcrackers, and meathooks. All of which are tailored to the student’s pace and level. The aerial straps discipline requires a good deal of strength and primary targets the shoulders and upper body. The course will help to increase your strength overall and serves as a great cross-training apparatus for any aerial discipline.
